Pecan Praline Cake



*Ingredients:

+cake
°1 box Betty Crocker Pecan Butter Cake Mix
°16 oz. Betty Crocker Frosting Coconut Pecan Can
°4 large eggs
°3/4 cup canola oil or coconut oil
°1 cup half and half for extra flavor instead of water
°1/2 cup chopped pecans
+Pecan Butter Glaze
°14 oz. Tray condensed milk sweetened
°3 tablespoons butter
°1/2 cup chopped pecans

*Methods :

cake:
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Grease or spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, combine all cake ingredients except chopped pecans. Mix well.
Add chopped pecans and stir.
Pour mix to prepared baking dish.
Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Pecan Butter Glaze:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add condensed milk and stir.
Heat well, then add chopped pecans.
Stir again to mix and then remove from the heat.
Pour the sauce over individual slices of cake or spread over the entire cake (much easier).
Notes:
Coconut-pecan frosting is included in the cake mix. It is not icing for the top of the cake and is not included in the sauce.
The cake took 50 minutes to bake, although the original instructions were 30-40 minutes for a 9 x 13 pan and 50 minutes for a pod pan.
